THE COMPANY: Our client has an outstanding reputation for being one of the leading providers of recovery focused clinical drug and alcohol treatment. Their focus is on ensuring they provide excellent clinical provision as part of a recovery pathway which supports and facilitates their patients to engage in genuine recovery.

Our client have developed an exciting new in-patient detoxification facility - 'The Pavilion'. The Pavilion is based in a 12 bed purpose built unit and will deliver medically managed and medically monitored detoxification for adults who require detoxification from alcohol or drugs.

THE ROLE: The Admissions Coordinator will take responsibility for the client referrals and admission process, ensuring that The Pavilion operates at optimum capacity. This will include implementing effective marketing campaigns, maintaining the existing referral streams and developing new referral streams each year.

You will be responsible for working alongside other employees, volunteers, students and residents to ensure the treatment programme is delivered and developed to an appropriate standard.

Key Responsibilities to include:

  • To take all relevant details, arrange assessments and where necessary arrange day visits for a

potential residents that are referred to The Pavilion via external agencies.

  • To pro actively follow up on customer enquiries and in conjunction with the Administrator schedule face to face visits accordingly.
  • Efficiently respond to any online or telephone queries in a calm and friendly manner.
  • To work with the Clinical Manager on a daily basis ensuring effective co-ordination of interviews, day visits, admissions and completions so that potential residents and significant others receive an efficient and professional experience of The Pavilion
  • To effectively manage the admissions waiting list and to maximise opportunities presented to ensure service capacity is achieved.
  • To communicate regularly and professionally with all external agencies and services and for all written and verbal correspondence to be of a suitably high and professional standard.
  • To prepare monthly reports that monitor the data involved in the admissions process and that can inform management strategy and decisions on service delivery and development.
  • Work closely with the Pavilion's Senior Management Team to assess the progress of the Pavilion service and develop Sales strategy accordingly.
  • To maintain existing referral streams and develop 10 new referral opportunities per annum.
  • Facilitate and implement marketing promotional campaigns.

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the Admissions Coordinator will have experience of working with individuals or groups that have experienced enduring difficulties with alcohol and drug addiction in either a community or therapeutic setting. You will need to have a proactive approach with everything you do to ensure that annual targets are exceeded.

Key experience essential for the role:

  • You must be educated to NVQ4/A level or equivalent experience
  • Ideally you will have had previous experience in the substance misuse/health industry and preferably experience in telecommunications sales.
