Job Description

Project Manager

Responsible for significant, company-wide projects, typically with large budgets and sizeable staff, focused on meeting project commitments, including communications with sponsors, stakeholders etc.; would not necessarily have strategic or operational responsibilities. Spends majority of time on fill life cycle project management responsibilities. Leads the design, planning, delivery, implementation and testing of complex projects for systems that typically affect many users.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
*Lead the development and implementation of a broad, coordinated set of projects and programmes to meet the goals and priorities of the organisation.

*Cultivate contacts with vendors and other resources

*Continuously improve project management toolkits and methodologies used across the group.

*Provide expertise and consulting to workstream leads in the process of project management and in the softer skills of team dynamics, team building and group motivation.

*Responsibility for multiple projects (delivered on-time, meeting customer requirements, with high team satisfaction), including some complex projects, and projects involving a number of project staff and third parties.

*Understands basic revenue models and P/L; meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances and initiating corrective actions.

*Works with the business and IT to define requirements, secure resources and deliver projects to time, cost and quality.

*Maintains and manages all project documentation including project status reports, risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, project plans and change management, anticipates and reacts to change.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
*Minimum 10 years of increasingly responsible experience, with at least five years of managing increasingly complex projects in a technical environment. Able to work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple and changing demands. Known for effective leadership of staff. Passion for client satisfaction
